Jenilee Rowley 

Jenilee is driven to help people. A graduate of St. Scholastica, Jenilee serves as licensed social worker dedicated to helping individuals as a dispositional advisor with the Ramsey County Public Defender’s Office. She also teaches Vinyasa and Yin yoga to women in the Ramsey County Correctional Facility. In addition to helping clients, Jenilee provides wellness training for fellow social workers and those serving clients in need. Jenilee teaches yoga at Studio One and recently completed Mindful Resilience for Trauma Recovery with the Veterans Yoga Project. Before serving at PD office, Jenilee used her training to help people suffering with mental health issues.  

Jenilee is an incredible person with a successful track record of bringing wellness to individuals in need. Her efforts are integral to Karuna’s success.     


James O'neill

After serving in Bangladesh in the US Peace Corps, James has been a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor at Behavioral Health Partners (BHP), part of the Sheppard Pratt Health System, which is consistently recognized as one of the leading mental health systems in the country. While at BHP, James discovered his passion for meditation after attending a 10-day silent Vipassana retreat. He began exploring meditation and mindfulness-based interventions, enrolling in several courses through the University of California San Diego’s Center for Mindfulness to become an instructor. Following his accreditation, James founded Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) at BHP and has trained hundreds of healthcare providers and educators on mindfulness-based interventions in both medical and special settings, including Frederick County Public School System, Kennedy Krieger Institute, Hearts and Homes, and Advocates for Homeless Families. James education includes Loyola University Maryland, BA, Johns Hopkins University, MS in Counseling, LCPC in Maryland and a Maryland Board Approved Supervisor, Qualified Teacher of MBSR with UCSD Center for Mindfulness, mPEAK Coach in Training. In his spare time, James likes to pretend to golf, hike, and enjoys fitness and yoga- when not meditating.

James has dedicated much of his life helping people all over the globe. His expertise is invaluable to our organization and community. 


Brendan Lynch 

Brendan brings a variety of experience to Karuna Community MN. As an undergraduate at Loyola College, Brendan studied political science with a focus on international relations. He has since served twice in the US Peace Corps, first in Benin as a middle school teacher and later in Madagascar as an agricultural project manager. Additionally, Brendan brings business knowhow to our organization, having held several financial analyst positions. He is currently an Assistant Vice President of equity research at Barclay's Bank. Brendan holds the Charter Financial Analyst designation and is a graduate of the Essec Global MBA program in Paris, France.

Brendan’s business acumen and his sincere desire to help others are instrumental to Karuna’s efforts to bring mindfulness bases wellness to our communities.
